Which functions in our program Actual Window Manager do you use most?

Reposition/Alignment (including dual monitors), Resize, Stay Always-on-Top, Roll Up… I’m curious about Ghost and Transparency… I just haven’t had the time to really understand how to best use them.

With which applications on your PC do you use Actual Window Manager?

Nearly all applications… Internet Explorer, Outlook, Microsoft Excel...

What additional features would you like to see in future releases of our Actual Window Manager?

See answer to below:
  • Display Window Size upon manual resize and via menu selection (similar to WinSize) – Once a window is sized/positioned just right, optionally save that window’s size/position as a user-defined size/position that can be applied to other windows later.
  • Right clicking on the Actual Window Manager Tray Icon should have a list of *all* the open windows (even those that don’t appear in Windows task bar) and various bits of info like size, position, on top-ness and whether or not they appear in the Windows Task bar – useful for finding those pop under windows – especially for us X-Mouse Autoraise-when-activating-Power-Toy-Users. In general, it would be nice to have one place where *all* windows and their info is available.
  • Once doing the previous item, then have available the same right click options as can be found when right-clicking windows in the task bar.

What interface improvements could help make our Actual Window Manager more usable?

Microsoft NetMeeting and Windows Live Meeting both have such severe problems with Actual Window Manager that I have to turn it off before using those apps. Have you tested with those apps in Windows XP?

Where did you hear about Actual Window Manager?

The results of a Google search.

All in all this is a great application – especially for those of us that want to have a lot of control over windows on our screen… Thanks!
