I opened a support case over email, but would like to see a more consistent update here if possible.

I bought the new GTX680 Nvidia card and have noticed that with AWM running and the new newly intregrated screen optimization drivers for taskbar and maximization control, any window that is closed causes a "double"-crash.

Support stated that they needed to get hardware.  I just wanted to clarify that while the 301.10 release driver was for the GTX680 only, the new 301.24beta driver now works on all Nvidia series cards.  I am unsure if the crashes happen without surround (triple monitor) enables, but that's not how I'd use it anyways.

Plese test and let me know.

Thanks!

Hello Chris.

Do you mean that 301.10 release driver works fine with AWM?

301.10 drivers are for GTX 680 only cards
301.24beta drivers work on all Nvidia series cards

No matter which driver, AWM still 'causes' window/application crashes when closing those windows/applications.

I was meerely stating that you don't have to go out and find/buy a GTX680 to test now.  Any recent series Nvidia card with the 301.24beta driver should be sufficient for testing.

Thanks!

Hello Chris.

I was unable to reproduce the issue with Win7-x32, 301.24 beta drivers and nvidia 7600 GT videocard. What OS are you running (version, 32 or 64 bit)?

Best regards.

Win7 Ultimate SP1 64bit

I just installed beta2 and still the same issue.

You may need to have multiple monitors hooked up in surround mode (single GTX 680 can do this) to get the crashes.

Hello Chris.

We weren't able to reproduce this problem with our hardware. To be precise, we weren't able to run nvsmartmaxapp.exe and nvsmartmaxapp64.exe.

Do you have any ideas how to run it?
