Any other word yet on the possibility of AWM being able to bring an existing window forward when it is 'activated' - but refuses to behave the way most windows do when they are activated.

VLC is sent the WM_ACTIVATEAPP message but remains in the background.

We'll take this information into account.

Unfortunately we weren't able to proceed to work on this issue yet. We'll inform you when it is fixed.

Later I'll try to provide more detailed information on what we think about the way you suggested.

 Ron,

We came to conclusion that implementing of this feature for VLC player window (so that it is oriented on the mentioned event) is not really our field of activity.

Please, contact the VLC support service regarding this problem.
