 Hi,

Since installing Actual Multiple Monitors, when I go to Start - Run, the Run window appears in the centre of the screen.

Can you advise how to change this back to appear in the bottom left of the screen.

OS is Windows 7 Pro 32Bit SP1.

 Hello Andy.

Please do the following:
- Launch Actual Multiple Monitors
- In the notification area (system tray) context menu for Actual Title Buttons (right click on the Actual Title Buttons icon) select “Logging” and then “Enable logging”
- In the same context menu select Logging > Show Log Window. It opens the Log window, where Actual Title Buttons displays the windows which it tracks, Settings that are applied to these windows etc.
- If the window contains some entries, then right-click the working area and select the “Clear Log” item.
- When the log window is clear, open the Run window and check whether the new entries appear in the log window and what setting are applied to it. Make a screenshot of the log window and send us.

What version of AMM are you running?

Does the Run window appears in centre of screen when AMM isn't launched?

 Hi Bogdan,

It is v 4.2 and no it does not appear in the centre if I stop AMM.

Oddly after 4 or 5 instances of appearing in the centre it then reverts back to appearing normally.

I wondered if it was my user profile, but I have deleted that and it made no difference.

 Hi Bogdan,

It does still persist.

If I login and try to Start Run, it goes to the middle of the screen.

It does this for the first few times I go to Start Run, and then it eventually places the run box in the bottom left as it should.

Its a bit strange!

 Hello Andy.

By the shield label and the "this task will be created with administrative privileges" i can see that you're running elevated windows explorer (as administrator). How do you manage this?

Did you try to make an exclusion for the "Run" window?

Could you send us your configuration files using the "Send to Tech Support" tool?

 Hi Bogdan,

I am a Domain Administrator if that makes any difference?

I did try to make an exclusion but it made no difference, however I will create a new exclusion by clicking on the window entry when it is in logging mode, as that worked for another app.

I will send the config over to you.

 Hello Andy.

I was unable to reproduce the issue even using your configuration files.

For now we can't tell what causes this behavior.

Try to reproduce this issue with average user account on the same machine and operation system. Just make a new normal user account and try to reproduce.
