Custom3, same as Custom2 and 7.1beta3.  Any program or window opened freezes.

Chris,

Unfortunately, we still could not make anything better than the first custom build :(

We are going to return to this problem as soon as we get the video cards.

Figure you already know this, as you probably haven't coded anything for it yet, but AWM 7.2beta1 is also completely useless to me right now as it still doesn't work properly.  Same issue that anything I open just hangs until I stop AWM.

Chris,

That's really strange, because in 7.2 beta 1, I've reverted the changes back to the first custom build.

Ok, so I rebooted, and now everything works.  EVERYTHING!

I can open programs, no crashes, and all my window settings work again.

I'm so confused.

Spoke too soon.

I works, until I open the Nvidia control panel and make any changes.  Then it causes IE9 and other explorer windows to hang.

Progress though.  Weird though because I've rebooted after installs in the past.  Not sure what's different.

Ok, more info...

Finding that only IE9 and My Computer has issues after Nvidia CP edits.  If I logoff and back on, both IE9 and My Computer open fine again even with AWM running.  No other explorer window so far after finding this workaround.

I'll have to test and see if excluding these is enough of a work around right now.

Creating exclusions for IE9 (\iexplore.exe) and Explorer (\explorer.exe) did not help.  In fact, I found that I only had to open Nvidia CP, not even make changes.  That was enough to cause systems.  Logout and back in, everything works!

Chris,

It's good to hear that the latest beta works better than previous versions.

Could you please make one more test?
Please try to disable all specific window settings you have in AWM, as well as the default window settings.
Then please go to Options -> General tab, and disable the checkboxes in "Manage Window Settings" and "Quick settings" groups.

After this, please try to open NV Control Panel. Will the crash occur?
