Hello Carl.

We've received your configuration files.

There were some email problems from our side.

Best regards.

Hello Carl.

Unfortunately, backup was not enough. And what we need is Configuration Files. Could you try to send it to us (as before, for 4-monitors and 6-monitors) and if you won't be able to create email automatically, save the Configuration Files and send them manually.

BTW does the problem occur when our product isn't launched?

Best regards.

I have ended up having to stop using the two 25" monitors since this software seems unable to work with Windows 8 properly OR with monitors of different screen sizes. Hopefully the developers will get this software working as advertised soon.

Hello Carl

Could you remind me, what we ended up on in investigating this problem? I can't find our email correspondence.

Best regards.

I had sent you the backup files as initially requested for both the 4 and 6 monitor setups. Those apparently did not provide you with the information you were looking for so you asked for the two config files for both setups.

I searched in the folders you asked me to as well as for any files with the names and naming convention you gave me (I do not recall what those are any longer) and no such files were found anywhere on any of my workstation's drives. It appeared at the time that your software was not creating the config files and I was told that I would have to wait for a later version.

Carl

The latest version shows the same behavior, right? I mean the problems with sending the configuration files.

Best regards.

To the best of my knowledge it does. I am running 5.0.4 and just clicked the "send to tech support" button but I have no indication that anything actually happened following the click.

Does the problem occur when our product isn't launched?

In your last email you specified the 7.3 version which can't be the version of Actual Multiple Monitors. Are you running several our products?

Could you check whether the monitors.log file is the only file that is created in the %tmp% folder when you click the "Send to..." button?

Best regards.

When I opened the software yesterday to try the "Send to Tech Support" function a popup window indicated that there was an upgrade to the software so I installed the update which from what I can tell was version 5.0.4. As far as any other version it would be what ever version I downloaded from your website so perhaps I mistyped the version number.
