I am currently using two monitors, each with a taskbar. My left monitor is using the default Windows taskbar, and it is placed on the left side of the screen, and my right monitor is using the Actual Multiple Monitors taskbar and it is placed on the right side of the screen. Both taskbars are set to "auto-hide", and also set to "on top". The problem is that my Actual Multiple Monitors taskbar does not want to pop back up when I bring my cursor to the edge of the screen, when I am using a maximized application. I have tested to see, and an application that is placed on the right side of the screen (where my taskbar is) using Aero Snap allows me to access the taskbar.

Is there a solution to this problem? Minimizing my window in order to access my taskbar is very impractical.

I am using Windows 7.

Hello Alex.

I was unable to reproduce this.

What applications have you noticed the problem with? Or does it happen with every application?

Could you make the backup file of your configuration (Tools > Configuration > Backup) and send it us (support@actualtools.com).

Best regards.

Well, I've started to notice it's with application that don't use the Windows style UI, such as Google Chrome and Itunes.

Hi. I'm having this same problem with the second monitor. If I have Chrome maximized, I can't reveal the taskbar, which I have set to autohide. I was wondering if this problem was resolved or if there is a fix that I'm not seeing anywhere. Thanks.

Hello Alex, hello Laura.

The reason why the taskbar doesn't pop back is that our program recognize maximized windows of the apps like Chrome and iTunes as full-screen windows.

For now the only way to make taskbar pop up is to restrict placement of these apps and leave some space for the taskbar (about 10 pixels), but this feature is not available in AMM, only in Actual Window Manager and Actual Window Guard.

Best regards.

Has this been fixed? I am considering buying the program, but considering that the bulk of what I use are the adobe creative suite and chrome, there are all kinds of issues because of this. For example right click on a taskbar item and the menu goes away, same with the :hovering window selections.

Hello James.

The issue with maximized Chrome has been fixed.

Our program has trial period so you can download it and test with adobe creative suite by yourself.

Best regards.
