That ghost taskbar bug is so annoying, especially since it mimics the main one but you can't actually interact with it. For anyone still hitting this, disabling the 'Multi-monitor task switcher' in the Taskbar settings (under Multiple Monitors) really is the magic fix while waiting for the update. It’s a bit of a trade-off if you like that feature, but it beats having to restart the app every day!
