This icon always show on top of everything when I have Actual Window Manager installed, no matter which version.

My friend said he saw this icon on a laptop before, seems like it's for volumn control on laptops. He doubted if this was a driver problem.

So I updated the newest drivers from the hardwares' official sites, the icon still shows. Then I rolled back to older drivers, it still came out.

The other day I changed my mainboard, CPU, graphic card of my PC and installed AWM again, I got this icon again.

I have to uninstall Actual Window Manager to remove this icon, it's the only way. Exit AWM doesn't help.

So can anybody help? Thanks

Hi,

What version of Actual Tools program is currently installed at your machine? If it is 4.5 (maybe 5.0. beta), turn on Windows Monitoring Log and check the information about this icon.

Yea, I created a new rule and dragged the crosshair on it, and then found its' program. It's a shortcuts manager(Vstart) which I always keep it running. The icon is from that program and usually invisible, the Actual Window Manager just makes it visible.

I successfully hide the annoying icon by applying a new rule on it.

Thanks for help, Michael. :D
