 If you hover over icons on the native taskbar, you'll notice the icon glow actually fades in and out when you pass in and out of an icon. On the AMM taskbar the glow snaps on and off. This is true for the icons as well as the start button itself.

The glow effect on the AMM taskbar icons is the same as on the system taskbar.

What OS are you running?

We'll consider your request about start button glow effect.

 This is Windows 7 x64 running AMM Beta 4.3.

Look closely and compare against the native task bar.
The glow effect is not exactly the same.
The native task bar fades the glow effect in and out.
AMM does not.
