I'd like to inform you that the ability of snapping to the desktop divider tile borders is available in Actual Window Manager 7.1 (as well as in Actual Multiple Monitors 4.1).

I'd like to inform you that some of the features you requested have been added:

1. different colors for the borders so you can see the hirarchy of the tiles
2. snapping of lines in different columns/rows

4. Copy a layout fr om one monitor to another(!)
5. Copy a whole layout(!)

They are available in the Actual Window Manager new version 7.1 (as well as in the new versions of other our programs that provide the relevant functionality).

thank you for your messages. As i tested the betas of AWM 7.1, i already noticed and confirmed almost all these features (post from 05.05.2012), but i am very happy to see, that now also the snapping of lines in different columns/rows works :)!

I tested it and it works very nice and greatly enhances the creating and handling of divider layouts.

 Hello gentlemen

I'm glad to notify you that the "Put into divider tile at startup" feature has been finally implemented.

Check it out in the latest beta version of Actual Window Manager or Actual Multiple Monitors.

 Hi Bogdan,

I already posted that in my original "feature request" thread that you upd ated yesterday but it's probably better to talk about the issues in this section so here it is :

I installed Actual Multiple Monitors 5.1 Beta 2 and went in configuration, opened the "Window Settings" tab, clicked on "Specific Settings" and selected the "Chrome" application. (I want Chrome to always go to the selected tile at startup).

When I click on the "Startup" tab the configuration tool freezes and I have to close it (it becomes unresponsive).

I tried to delete my existing "Specific Settings", save, close, restart, create a new one. A soon as I click the startup tab the configuration program hangs.

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits, I have two se ts of "desktop divider" and I switched between the two based on the work I'm doing.

Is there some additional information I can provide to help you debug the issue ?
