 Actual Tools has released the 1st beta version of Actual Window Manager 4.2.

Here is the short list of changes and improvements:

[!] The long-awaited issue is fixed: now the "Window caption" criterion correctly detects windows which quickly change their captions at startup (like Notepad, Internet Explorer, MS Word, MS Excel etc.).

[+] Now you can strictly but flexibly constrain window placement on the desktop by defining the limits for window's top-left corner (so it can't be upper/lefter than the defined values) and/or bottom-right corner (so it can't be lower/righter than the defined values).

[+] Now you can temporarily cancel the ghost mode with the special hotkey pressed (Ctrl+Shift by default).

[+] Now you can minimize a window by clicking the standard Close caption button.

[+] The special "grouping button" is added which contains all the commands of currently unused buttons.

You can download it here.

I would recommend to install this beta into a separate folder (for example, "C:\Program Files\Actual Window Manager 4.2 beta 1") and then simply copy there your original WindowRules.ini settings file from the folder where you installed the release version of Actual Window Manager ("C:\Program Files\Actual Window Manager" by default).
