I know I've had minor issues with windows that were set to maximize on startup not doing so in the past. I've always attributed that to different desktop resolutions across my monitors. I have left at 1280x1024(3), center 1920x1080(1), right 1280x1024(2). (#)'s are monitor position according to system.
Anyways, something I've never had a problem with before until now. When I have a particular application (Cisco Communicator) open up to a restricted position the length (top to bottom) on the right side of the center monitor. I have also set the Startup and Minimal sizes to the maximized size of that restricted position. In the past, this has always maximized to that restricted space properly. As of the beta, it no longer launches to the proper size, as set. Now, to get it to set, I have to open manager and make any change, such as change the Save position on exit box, and click Save and the window then sets properly.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hello Chris,
Thanks for the post.
What OS are you running (version, x32 or x64)?
What version of Cisco Communicator do you use?
Could you send me your configuration files (Actual Window Manager -> File -> Send Configuration -> Send to the Tech Support) with screenshots of the problem?
Best regards.

This is still a big problem in v7beta2. Any word on if the problem has been isolated and if there's a fix coming anytime soon? I have also been able to verify that restrictions also do not load for the vSphere client. I have found if I Pause and Start the application that this is sufficient to force those settings and then the open applications immediately snap into their restricted regions.
