You guys already compared the new feature of latest beta, "inactive scroll windows with the mouse wheel" with the software WizMouse? if no, please do so.

I'm using WizMouse again because the new native similar feature in AWM fail to scrool a simple explorer window (Seven x64). Is as if the folder tree (left panel) had priority.

Yeah, the problem I reported here

http://www.actualtools.com/forum/read.php?FID=12&TID=1240

doesn't show up with Whizmouse! Also, the option to activate the window being scrolled (and only then!) is very nice!

System:
DUAL WIN7 (32bit)/WIN10 PRO (64bit)
CPU Q9550S
4GB RAM
Nvidia 460GTX

Heh, heh - wizmouse is what I initially turned to as well (when the original beta disabled my scroll wheel outside of IE).

Well this bug was not fixed yet at version 6.4? I installed AWM at a new computer today, all default config, no custom rule and my Explorer fail to scroll even if in focus.

Just bumpimg this thread to know if ActualTools team are aware of the problem.

Returning to the simple and efficient WizMouse.

Thanks

Hello zegames zegames,

I can't reproduce the problem.

Could you send me your configuration files (File -> Send Configuration -> Send to the Tech Support) and list your software?

Best regards.

I don't think it is time to send the configuration, because it's just default one, once installed nothing was changed at software config interface. The Windows Seven x64 same, everything fresh, no third software installed.

After expend some minutes with an explorer session I think you can reproduce the problem with follow steps.

1) Open Explorer;
2) Expand the tree on left panel until get scroll bar visible, ie. c:\windows\;
3) Click on suggested folder to open content in right panel and get scrollbars also;
4) Try to scroll the explorer, only left panel will scroll at first time.
5) Switch to other process or just to desktop and back to explorer;
6) Try to scroll.. Done! You will be able to reproduce the problem.

Repeat the steps many times with explorer at focus or not at focus.

Well, a little boring to try explain as you can reproduce this behavior. Try one time and tell about the result, if the problem is unique to my system I will stop to bother about it, WizMouse is so small I can keep with it on my system.

Thank you anyway.

Hello zegames zegames,

I can't reproduce the problem.

Check whether the problem persists with the "Scroll inactive windows with the mouse wheel" option disabled.

Best regards.
