Hello,
I just downloaded the newest version of the beta on 10/22/2010 and after about 30 minutes of using it says that the beta period has expired and stops working. I reinstalled the beta and checked the About information and it says the beta will expire in 39 days.
Is there something that I am doing incorrectly?
Thank you!

Jeff, Jeremy,
That's quite strange. Could you export the following registry branch
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Actual Tools
and send it to support@actualtools.com?
Then, please, try to uninstall the beta completely and install it from scratch. I believe this may fix this strange problem.

Jeff, I've checked the Registry data you sent me - they look pretty correct. Please, could you check your system date/time? It's the only thing our beta versions take into account to detect their expiration. Thank you!

Thank you for the reply and looking into the registry date.
My date and time on my computer is correct. Is there any other information I can get for you?

Could you try to install the
2nd hotfix update
and see if it fixes the problem? BTW, do both applications (
AWM
itself and its
Configuration
) tell you about beta expiration or just
AWM
itself?

I did install the second hotfix update and that did work. I have not had a problem since.
It seemed like just AWM was giving me that message, but I did not check the rest of the functionality to see what was working and what was not working.

And what the About box displays now? How many days you have until the beta 2 expiration?

It says that the beta expires in 34 days. However, it said this before the second update too and it was still expiring.

That's strange. OK, we will investigate this issue further.
