 I love AWM and brag about it to all my co-workers. After replacing my work desktop computer with a laptop, I have notice what may be a problem.  This is probably not a new issue with AWM 6.3 Beta 1 or with Windows 7, both of which I am using.  I do not think the "Keep layout automatically" option is working as intended.

I am using a laptop for work.  Sometimes the laptop is docked and I use dual external monitors.  Other times, the laptop is undocked and I use the built-in display.  I had hoped the "Keep layout automatically" option would allow me to have the windows arranged on the dual monitors, undock and use the laptop display, redock and have the "dual monitor" window layout restored.  Unfortunately, this is not what happens.  When I "redock", the windows that were originally on the second monitor are restored such that part of each window appears on Monitor 1 and the remainder on Monitor 2.  In fact, this also seems to affect Windows 7 desktop gadgets.

Here are some screen shots that may help explain.

Dual monitor set up after redocking.  Notice the window that was originally on Monitor 2 is now partly on Monitor 1 and partly on Monitor 2.  It has not been restored to the original position.  Also not the Windows 7 desktop gadgets are skewed to the right.

Am I misunderstanding what the "Keep layout automatically" option should do?
