From where do you get the orb image to create the start menu in secondary monitor: from explorer.exe or it is built in actual window manager?
Because I'm using custom orb image in my explorer.exe and it would be good to see the same orb in secondary monitor.
Thanks

In Aero theme in Windows 7, the Start button image is extracted from explorer.exe. In Classic theme, it's taken from windows\branding\shellbrd\shellbrd.dll.
How have you changed the image? Manually or with some kind of patch?

I use this
tool
to change the orb image. This small piece of software is based on the popular
Resource Hacker
software.

Do you have a 64-bit version of Windows?
There was a small bug in AWM/AMM, which caused the images and other resources extracted from a wrong version of explorer.exe on 64-bit systems (from one in SysWOW64 folder).
