 Hi,

One minor nuisance is when any of my windows that were partially off-screen get pushed completely on-screen when Windows comes back from Standby or Workstation Lock.

For example, if I have my window positioned like this:

User added an image

..it will look like this if I Lock my workstation (press Win+L) and then unlock it:

User added an image

 Hello,

I don't mean to rush, but can I get some idea of what you guys think about this issue?  I think it's a pretty important one that hasn't been addressed yet, considering how often people use Standby, Hibernate, or Screen savers.

As if that weren't enough, I also suspect that this issue affects more recent versions of Windows (Vista, 7?), in addition to XP.  I have not been able to confirm this.

 Hello Michael,

Do you have the "Keep layout automatically" option enabled (Actual Window Manager -> Options -> Windows Layout -> Keep layout automatically)?

 That's a good idea, but that option makes no difference, whether it's on or off (I just tried it).

I.e., whenever I Lock my workstation and then come back, the same annoying thing happens -- All my windows are moved, and I must manually move them back.

It's actually hard for me to understand why this behavior would still exist in such a developed and fine-tuned program as AWM.
..And why no one (I think) has reported it before.
Am I missing an option somewhere? I don't think so..

Yes,
"Windows XP, version 2002, Service Pack 3" and
"Windows XP Pro x64 Edition, version 2003, Service Pack 2".

 I'd also like to see this.  Any time the screen saver shuts off, my windows go wonky. I have to do a Win+f5 to make Actual put them back where they are based on the rules.

Jim,
I didn't know about that shortcut.  Which version of Windows do you use?  On my Windows XP (both 32- and 64-bit), it does the same thing as F5 (which is usually "refresh the page").
