Dear actualtools,
I am using your software Actual Multiple Monitors to mirror my PC monitor with 3440x1440 resolution to a TV with 3840x2160 resolution.
The different aspect ratios and/or the different resolutions lead to Windows not allowing me to set the individual highest possible resolution in the display settings when mirroring via Windows with duplication of the monitor. Also, I cannot use HDR on my PC monitor when duplicating the monitor with Windows display settings.
Your software allows me to use the extending display feature of Windows display settings. Then, I can use the individual highest possible resolution for each display, my PC monitor can be set up to use HDR, and the Actual Multiple Monitor mirroring feature let's me
basically
duplicate the monitor to the TV.
Why
basically
? Well, even though when checking the box for hardware acceleration for mirroring, the framerate is not very high. I don't know how to measure the framerate exactly, but it is not particular smooth. When using a higher refresh rate of 120Hz for the TV, it becomes very obvious that the framerate of the mirrored image is not close to 120fps.
The mirrored image are games and a smooth mirrored image would drastically improve the enjoyment.
I am asking you to look into the performance of the mirroring feature.
