I recently installed AWM 5.2 and have noticed that it stops working when a skin is installed with WindowBlinds 6.3.

I've tested a number of situations and this is a summary of what I've found:

AWM works fine if no skin is loaded.

As soon as I load a skin, AWM stops working (e.g. alternate task bar disappears) and it disappears from the processes list.

This happens whether Aero is switched on or not.

If I have the AWM config window open when this happens, the "Actions... Load AWM" menu item is active. Clicking this briefly makes the Actions... Start AWM" option available, but clicking this has no effect - the Load AWM option becomes available once again. It looks like AWM does load itself again very briefly, terminating almost immediately.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions on how to fix this.

Thanks & regards

neil

I just updated to the latest version of WindowBlinds in the hope it would fix the problem, but it didn't. But now AWM is creating a system event when it crashes - I've pasted it below.

I hope this helps you

Cheers
