I would like to be able to use the Plane9 screensaver as a single screensaver over the entire desktop. I have it set in AMM and when I preview it, it works fine. However, when the 1 minute of idle time triggers the screensaver, both screens go black as if the screen saver is starting, but nothing displays.

The problem has been confirmed. We'll try to fix it and will post here when it's fixed.
The good news is the screensaver seems to work the way you need by default, i.e. if you set it via the standard Windows settings the single picture should be extended to all your monitors. Have you tried this?
Best regards.
