Hello, I have the following problem since installing version 8.14.2.

I open an Excel spreadsheet on the virtual desktop 2.
I press Ctrl-F.
The search window appears.
I switch to the virtual desktop 1.
I switch to the virtual desktop 2.
The search window has disappeared and it remains lost, (again pressing Ctrl-F does not bring it back).
Until I save the current spreadsheet. After saving, the search window immediately appears again.

Under the previous version (8.14.1) I do not have this problem.
Today I tried the version 8.14.1 -> no problem.
8.14.2 reinstalled -> no search window after changing the virtual desktop.

Thank you for contacting us.

The problem has been confirmed. We'll try to fix it and will post in this topic when it's fixed.

For now as workaround you can create specific settings for the search window and enable "Move to virtual desktop > All desktops" action in the Startup section of the settings. The search window will be displayed on all virtual desktops but at least it won't disappear when you switch to the virtual desktop where you opened it.

Here you can learn about how to create specific settings for a window.

I'm glad to notify you that the subject issue has been fixed and the fix is available in the latest version of Actual Window Manager 8.14.3 and our other products as well.

You can update your program to the latest version (program's tray icon context menu > Info > Check for Updates) or download the latest version manually, install it and and confirm the fix.

Hello, thanks for the fix.
I can confirm that version 8.14.3 fixed the bug.
