i have no idea what you mean by "sandbox" applications

i've tried removing antivirus but doesn't help, regardless i'm using webroot secure anywhere software

i tried running older versions on windows 10 but had more problems than i have now which is why i paid for the upgrade

Do you mind if I access your system remotely via TeamViewer to try to figure out why Firefox window is not affected by AWM? If it's acceptable for you, then you need to download the TeamViewer QuickSupport application from this page (the first one after the main TeamViewer product and tell me what your time zone is.
