Using AMM with Mozilla Thunderbird and sometimes, if I try to remote into my machine with logmein, I cannot open my Thunderbird window without having to ctrl+alt+del to stop the program from running. Then I have to open up thunderbird again, but then it works fine.

I ask here because if I turn off AMM completely, the problem doesnt happen any longer.

Thanks

Hello, FireRunt

Do you mean this doesn't happen, when you work on your PC directly, not remotely?

What exactly program do you stop via Task Manager?

Best regards.

It does not happen when I use it directly....only remotely.

I have to stop thunderbird.exe and then i restart it and it works normally again

Thanks

You are running Windows 7 x64 and  AMM 8.7 on the remote pc, right?

What is the versions of Thunderbird and LogMeIn are you running?

Are all problems you wrote about on forum on the same pc?

Do you log off on the remote pc, before accessing it remotely?

When you access your PC, do you have to start thunderbird and encounter the problem or thunderbird is already running but you can't access it's window?

Does the problem appear on every remote access? If not, then how often does it happen?

I am running 8.8 AMM
Windows 7 Ultimate - 64 Bit
Latest version of a Thunderbird
Latest version of the LogMeIn Client

It's happening on the same pc

When I leave work I lock the computer instead of logging off

Thunderbird is always running. When I'm finished reading mail, I minimize it. I can see the icons in the taskbar and system tray but nothing happens if I click on them when I'm on the LogMeIn client. That's when I have to force quit  and restart Thunderbird for it to start working.  This happens about 80% of the time.
