I like to minimise my Vmwmare Player machine to a tray since it is running a headless server. If i minimise it and then change virtual desktop and change back again the program is no longer minimised in the tray.
I also am trying to get the machine to startup as minimised in the tray but it doesn't appear to minimise even when creating a rule.

Dear Adam,
thank you for your post!
Have you ever tried to mark the
Block self-restoration
checkbox in the Specific Settings rule? This is what helped me get rid of both problems you describe.
Best regards!

ok the block works from restoring the window! Thanks!
Can you direct me how to send it to the tray on start up. I cannot get that working and therefore presume I am doing something incorrect.
