Hi there,
I have a question about the single mode vs multimode.
I have 3 screens, at windows start up there is just 1 screen active.
When I enable all secondary screens they are located ->  2|1|3
Screen 1 & 3 = 1680x1050
Screen 2 = 1280x1024

Now:
at windows start up there is just the primary screen enabled.
When I open 6 -10 programms, all of them on my primary screen
an then I decide to turn on/enable the secondary screens,
Actual windows Manager moves some of my programms to screen nr.3

How can I disable this behaviour?
I want to move the windows at my own and not have them moved by AWM

Thanks for your answer

Dear Carlos,

sorry for a late reply.

I've been testing your configuration as well as default Actual Window Manager configuration and haven't managed to reproduce your problem.

Please provide me with a more detailed instruction how to reproduce the problem:
  • specify the windows which are getting moved to display No. 3;
  • describe the way you enable the second and the third monitors;
  • tell me, if this behavior is shown every time you enable your secondary monitors or if it depends on some conditions;
  • any other information which could be useful to reproduce the situation.

Thank you in advance!
Best regards.

Dear Support,
Yesterday I had to switch back my PC to an older version with an imagefile without AWM.
Today I installed AWM again, and now I cant reproduce that error anymore.
Seems to me as if the problem has fixed itself by this new installation.
I will keep on testing.
Thank you for your support

Kind Regards
Carlos Janz
