Thanks guys!

The original issue appears fixed. I am still experiencing the task switcher not working as native without AWM running. When I press alt+tab one time it switches to the same window (and not the last window that had focus as I'd expect). It seems that AWM running somehow causes a metro app to show as the first option (in my case it is the Store but have seen it with other metro apps as well). It does not make a difference if I close the store. Normally without AWM it will stop showing (after being closed) when alt-tabbing but with AWM even after you close it it still shows as the first option.

I have recorded a short screencast demonstrating the problem - http://screencast.com/t/8JNbs3Zyw

Thanks,
AW

I submitted feedback. sorry for not finding this thread first!

Like those before me, the beta has fixed the original complaint and started new ones. I have most AMM options off (just a few hotkeys for trapping the mouse and or moving the mouse between monitors.

The "multi-monitor task switcher" feature is off. As a simple person, it's hard for me to imagine why, in this configuration, the native alt-tab functionality would be easy to disrupt.

Thanks for a great product and continued dev-support.

I'm having a similar problem on Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
Are there any fixes for this?

I have AWM entirely off because I can't stand how it disrupts alt-tab still and how they can't seem to understand how or why we're saying this.

Regular alt-ab: brings up a display of things the user has open

AWM alt-tab: brings up a display of things the user has opened PLUS random Windows 8 apps that are NOT open until alt-tab is used.

I don't get it.

Same here. Same problem--when I used AWM. But I don't use AWM anymore, and I'm beginning to forget about it. Were it not for the reply notice email, I would not have even known this thread was updated. I'll check back eventually, but I won't keep hanging around at someone's mercy. I'm just not built that way.

Exact same boat I'm in, but I'm staying subscribed with hopes the devs care enough to fix their product that we have paid for. I would not have paid for the 8.0 update recently if I knew it was going to get this kind of support :\

Yeah this is no good at all... I might downgrade to Win 7 anyways with too many things bugging me in 8/8.1 but not too impressed with the handling of this issue.

Hello gentlemen,

Sorry for the delay with response.

These task switcher problems have been fixed.
Fixes will be available in the next update.

Best regards.
