 Hello Bogdan,

If I don't add the custom toolbars, the height is remembered. This gave me an idea for another experiment: changing the height of the taskbar after adding the toolbars. This made me realise that the problem isn't so much in the height of the taskbar, but in the position of the toolbars. The following screenshots show the process fairly well:

Example configuration:
User added an image

After restarting AWM:
User added an image

After a closer look, the toolbars are actually placed below the real taskbar. The height of this bar doesn't change, but the toolbars are moved to the right instead of below it after a restart.

I hope this information helps to find the cause.
