Hi,

I'm trying out AWG and noticed the following:
- I had to exclude Jing\SnagIt 10 from AWG otherwise they would both not resopond when opened.
- After setting up a rule to resize Internet Explorer (9) when launched, IE would not respond after launch. Disabling the rule (but still having other rules such as monitor and position) solves the issue.

Thanks for the help.

Actually after trying to use IE it is not usable even with only a single rule applied (Move to Monitor or Position):
- Clicking a folder in the bookmark bar does not open it
- The Address bar behaves strangely

Thus I conclude that at the moment IE cannot be controlled with AWG.

Hello Ory.

What version of AWG are you running?

What OS are you running (version, 32 or 64-bit)?

Send us your configuration files using the Send to Tech Support tool.

Best regards.

Hello Ory.

The issue with IE has been confirmed.

We'll try to fix it.

I was unable to confirm the problem with Jing/Snagit 10 with your configuration and with corresponding exclusions disabled.

How exactly do they not respond? Could you give me step-by-step description of the problem?

Best regards.

Hi,

- With the "Jing" exclusion disabled, start up Jing.
- Right click the Jing icon in the Notification Area > Capture
- Select a Capture Area and then click the "Capture Video" button
- Perform the capture and click Stop button to complete
=> The window will be frozen until the Jing exclusion is enabled and applied

- With the SnagIt exclusion disabled, start SnagIt
- Right click the SnagIt icon in the Notification Area > Open SnagIt
=> The window will be frozen until the SnagIt exclusion is enabled and applied

Regards,
Ory

Hello Ory.

Are you sure you're running the latest version?

Are you sure that the default settings in your configuration files are the same as in the configuration files you've sent to me?

I was unable to reproduce the problem. Exclusions are disabled, Default settings are applied to the windows, but everything works properly.

What Windows theme do you use?

Best regards.

Hi,

Yes to both questions. The details and configuration files are provided directly from within AWG.

My Windows Theme is a customised one. I've shared it via: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/24903031/Work%20PC%20Theme.themepack

Could you try to reproduce this issue with the standard Aero theme?

Best regards.

Hello, Ory

You reported the following issue some time ago:
Quote

I'm glad to notify you that the subject issue doesn't persist in the latest version of Actual Window Guard. You can install the latest version 8.10.2 to see it yourself.

Best regards.
