AWM 6.3
WinXP SP3

I may have lost my mind.  Not long ago, I had my Start button configured so that it stretched to fill the entire height of my double-height task bar.  Now it is no longer stretched in that manner, and I cannot seem to find the setting in AWM to enable it again.  Can someone tell me where this setting is?  Was it removed in AWM 6.3?  Or was it not AWM that was stretching my Start button in the first place?

I see...  It's under the Multiple Monitors tab on the main window.  Then I do have a problem: I have the "Stretch the Start button out to the taskbar" option enabled, yet the Start button is not stretched.  (Of course, AWM is running and enabled.)  Even disabling/saving/enabling/saving that option doesn't fix the issue.

Hello Scott,

Does the start button not stretch in the primary taskbar or in the AWM taskbar?
WinXP 32 or 64 bit?
What theme do you use?
Do you have installed any other apps working with the taskbar?

Hello,

Thank you for the reply.  My answers:

Primary taskbar

32 bit

Windows Classic theme

I am using True Launch Bar 5.0, but it shouldn't be doing anything with the Start button.  Also, even with True Launch Bar 5.0 installed, the Start button stretching did work before.  (I can't say what has changed, but it was not True Launch Bar.)

Hello Scott,

I can't reproduce the problem.
Could you try to reproduce it without running True Launch Bar.

Inform me about your results.

Best regards!

I believe the problem is an incompatibility with TClock Light.  If the problem does not happen when TClock is run, it will happen if TClock is closed.  Probably something to do with repainting the task bar.

Hello Scott,

TClock Light doesn't work when AWM is running on my PC.
How do you run TClock Light when AWM is running?

I just run it, and it works.  It may not be clear that it is running/working unless you right click the clock and see the new menu items added by TClock.

I also have an exclusion for "\TClock.exe" but I am not sure it matters.

You are using an ancient version of TClock, try this one. Works perfectly on my system.

T-Clock 32 1.0.1 is itself four years old; hardly new.  It also doesn't seem to have an NTP feature.  But it doesn't seem to interfere with AWM's modification of the Start button the way TClock Light does, which is good.
