Hi,

got problems with AMM 3.0 (installed yesterday). When I use wheel in chrome (logitech mx revolution mouse) it scrolls too much. It affects chrome only, other apps are fine.
When AMM is closed it does not happen. And it was fine with previous version (downloaded like 10 days ago, don't remember which version).
Any ideas ?

Thanks!

empeg, do you have Logitech setpoint software installed. I have read on another forum, people have experienced problems with some software when setpoint is installed.

Yes I do have it installed, but I want to keep it. Problem is directly related to AMM 3.0 - when I close it it's fine again. And it's fine with AMM 2.3.

Hello Empeg,

What setpoint software (name, version) do you have installed?

I understand you want to keep Setpoint, but it is well known to be a cause of problems. Not just with AWM

Empeg,

Uncheck in options under mouse at the bottom "Scroll inactive windows with the mouse wheel" and try to reproduce the problem.

Inform me about your results.

I had a similar problem since upgrading AWM from 6.2 to 6.3. in both my Chrome and Maxthon browsers.

The symptom is the mouse wheel whould randomly cause rapid scolling to the top or bottom of a page. The browser would become unresponsive for a few seconds, and I also noticed Task Manager showed unusually high processor usage during that time.  I also found the scrolling to be erratic in some other programs (i.e. Outlook) but not to that extreme.

I am using a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse, but don't have Setpoint installed as I think Setpoint is bloatware and unnesessary.  I'm using the built in Windows 7 (x64) HID mouse driver.

I tried disabling the AWM rules for the browsers but didn't see a difference.  I had to completely remove AWM from memory to stop the problem from happening.

I downgraded AWM back to 6.2 and no longer have the problem, so it appears to indicate that AWM 6.3 is causing the issue, or is incompatible with something else in my system.
