When i sel ect individual mode in the multi-monitor taskbar settings and click apply, the windows in other monitors disappear fr om the main task bar (system task bar) which is how it should be but the moment I minimize the settings window, they reappear in the system task bar. I am able to mitigate this by selecting "replace the system taskbar" but then I lose access to my quick launch and other toolbars which are in the task bar.

Can you please help

Thanks
Akshay

Hello, Akshay

I apologize for the delay in replying to you.

Is it really associated with minimizing the settings window? Did you mean literally minimizing or closing the settings window? What if you don't minimize/close it and proceed working with other windows - are the windows displayed in the main taskbar then?

Is the problem that the option you try to enable is reset or that it stays selected but doesn't work correctly - is the option still selected in the settings after it fails to work and you reopen the settings window?

Hi Bogdan,

Thanks for writing to me. Actually I have had to uninstall the software completely, and even then the corruption in my system is not gone. I think I will have to format my system because the software has corrupted each and every program by messing with the explorer.exe. Is there a way to remove all the changes that the software has caused in my windows machine, because at this point I am kind of desperate to not have to go to the pain of formatting the machine completely.

I did not realize that I should not have installed such an untested solution without checking with others on this forum.

Best,
Akshay
