I got an ultrawide monitor for Black Friday. I had been using dual monitors. I have Actual Window Manager 8.15.1. I had a simple Desktop Divider setup on the dual monitors and mainly snapped windows in place with the mouse; my main use was the Multiple Monitor features.
With the single ultrawide, I'd like a 3-zone horizontal layout, which I have configured and set as active and works with the mouse. I don't understand how to use the keyboard to snap windows into zones though. None of the Key Combinations assigned in the Hotkeys > Actions > Desktop Divider tab seem to work, or work as expected. I'd like to be able to snap a window left or right across the zones, or (less importantly) directly into zone 1, 2, or 3.
Because I was struggling with this I installed the PowerToys FancyZones and that seemed a bit simpler for the keyboard navigation, I could use Win + Left Arrow and Win + Right Arrow to snap windows into equivalent zones. I prefer the divider setup in Actual Tools though, as I can set it to be percentage based.
I guess Windows also has a built-in snapping feature that I wasn't aware of.
How can I get Desktop Divider to respond to a simple Win + Left/Right Arrow to snap a window to the next/previous DD zone? Possibly disabling Windows' built-in assignment for those keys if necessary.
