Part of the reason I installed Actual Multiple Monitors in the first place is because I wanted to pin commonly used applications (browser, file explorer, etc.) onto second and third monitors when I'm using my primary monitor for the main focus of what I'm doing. Sometimes that is gaming, and some games I play in full screen do not play nice with other applications opened on that monitor (they are opened behind the game and it's impossible to move them to another monitor without closing the game).

However, after pinning things on the second and third monitors, these applications appear to open on the monitor in which they were last used or closed. I want to change the behavior so that the application will open on the monitor on which it was opened, to prevent things opening behind other fullscreen applications that can't be moved. Is there a setting in Actual Multiple Monitors that can set it to this behavior?

The feature "Move to monitor > Having mouse pointer" does this (AMM configuration module > Window Settings > Specific Settings > specific settings for particular app > Startup > Move to monitor).
It works for most applications although there are some rare exceptions. What exactly applications you're going to use it with?

Here you can learn about how to create specific settings for an app.

Best regards.
