Hello TabSel,

Unfortunately we cannot solve this.

It seems that mentioned windows are identified as child windows.
Actual Window Manager cannot trace such windows for some reasons.

Best regards.

Bummer.

At least the snapping would help a lot.

I understand that AWM can't for example reposition a child window outside of the parent window, for example, so most of AWMs functionality can't be applied to child windows.

But snapping at least?

I also noticed that unfortunately most of the features of AWM can't be applied to child windows.

For example the windows inside Excel cannot be rolled up or forced to stay always on top, they have no title buttons, they don't snap and so on.
But surprisingly snapping of windows inside Excel does work with WindowSpace. So there seems to be some way to achieve this?

TabSel, no, we have not.

This is very difficult task.

I don't think that it will be done in the near future.

Best regards.

bummer.

might have a look into WindowSpace then, although I really don't like multiple window management softwares running and possibly interfering with each other...

ok, no, WindowSpace is too much redundancy, I fear too much interference with AWM and AWM clearly is superior in everything else, also, I could not find any info wether snapping of child windows works with WindowSpace...

damn :(

Hello TabSel,

as I said above snapping of child windows works with Window Space (i tested it). But you are right, AWM is by far superior in everything else. I used AWM and WindowSpace side by side for a while and it worked fine (i deactived everything in WindowSpace but snapping). But since version 7.0 of AWM, which fixed a big problem with snapping (for me), i use AWM alone. But i still hope snapping of child windows will be possible in AWM sometime.
