Hi ActualTools Team; long time no see! But i'm still there using & testing your soft. :)

I recently installed the 5.0 version and I started to have those GreenScreens (RGB(0, 255, 0)) when refreshing the views (F5) in StarTeam under Windows Vista.

- The 4.5 did'nt do that.
- Excluding this app dosen't help.

Are you al already aware of this issue?

Ps: Here's a screenshot of the greenscreen; Sometimes it's filling up all the screen!

Thanx
Zack

Wow... This is exactly like the problem I'm having with 4.5 on Vista (see my post in the technical support forum), although I'm NOT running StarTeam. In fact, I haven't been able to isolate any one single application as the culprit.

Dear Zack,

Could you please specify the exact string of steps we should perform to reproduce this situation with green screens?

Well... The problem seems to be intermittent! Normally; I just have to hit the refresh button in a view (F5).

I also noticed that it happens with some others softwares like InternetExplorer7 (that comes with vista)!

I'll try to get the steps to reproduce!

Hello Zack,

Is there any further information on the "green screen" issue?

As a matter of fact, there is. :) I just found out yesterday eneving. Might be easyier to track the problem down.

I was browsing a set of backgrounds I had in a folder using vista's "Window Photo Gallery"; deleting those I did'nt want to keep.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Display an image in the "Window Photo Gallery".
2) Press the delete key.
3) Press the spacebar or "Y" key as soon as you see the "Delete file" windows appear.

The problem seems to happen between the display of that window and the adding of the titlebar buttons (see picture). They seem to appear after a delay of approx 0.3 second after the window opening. I guess closing the window before they get to be drawn causes a green screen. :)

Hello Zack,

Thank you very much for steps. We have finally found the bug! It will be fixed in version 5.0.
