I just found this program and am -loving- it. It seems to work well with AWM, but perhaps AWM might consider implementing a similar feature in the future?

Just a thought!

Hello Steve.

What exactly features of that application do you want to be implemented in AWM?

Best regards.

Well, after using the program mentioned above -- I'm in love with it! It also combines a feature for another request I posted -- the ability to search for open windows.

If you have a chance, I encourage you to install it to see its features and use. I've been surprised it works so well, seeing as how it hasn't been upd ated in a couple years. But it works flawlessly on Windows 7 x64, and together with AWM, too.

The features I love about it -- the ability to hit a shortcut on my mouse (either by setting a button shortcut, or moving the mouse pointer to a certain zone), and then showing all of the monitor's open windows that are open. You can have them displayed as tiles, a grid, or "docked", and its easy to quickly change the views.

I also like the feature of being able to type a couple letters, and have it live-narrow down the open windows with those names.

The customization is great, too, with ability to se t all sorts of different keyboard or mouse shortcuts, global or local shortcuts. And it has a couple other cool features, too, like when selecting a window, if you right-click the window you want, it will select that window and then minimize all the others. Or, you could press keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl-H, Ctrl-W, etc., giving you different options to use.

Anyway, I'm perfectly happy using this software in addition to AWM, as they work flawlessly together. Seeing as how feature-packed AWM is and continues to be, I understand if you guys don't have much room for more features! AWM is great, and I suggest it to my friends and family.

Thanks for being so helpful and responsive, and especially being open to requests!

Hello Steve.

We'll consider your requests.

Thank you for choosing our product and for the little "promotion" :)

Best regards.

:) I promise it wasn't a promotion! I worried it might look like that. though.

To my credit, I have no affiliation, participation, or connection with that software in any way. And further, not only is it freeware, but it hasn't been updated at all since 2007, five years ago.

Anyway, thanks for your guys' willingness to hear out new feature requests!

Hello Steve and Bogdan,

I want to connect this thread with a similar one made over a year ago. Maybe this helps pushing it up the priority ladder?  ;)

Best regards.

(Sorry my english)
Had my case also: TopDesk (Okatu SoftWare).

It happens that I have verified that the Switcher (InsentIent.net) is much lighter (RAM) that the TopDesk (Okatu SoftWare).

Thanks Pim JooSten.
Thanks Steve Kalide.
