Hello,

you already did a very good job improving the classic snapping (http://www.actualtools.com/forum/read.php?FID=10&TID=1988&MID=8536&sphrase_id=53486#message8536), but i have one last request:
I saw this behaviour in a lot of other snapping programs and it is really a great help. Consider the situation in the attached picture:
Both windows are snapped together vertical. If i now move the left window upwards (without changing its horizontal position) OR resize its upper border, it would be great if it would snap to the "imaginary extended" upper border of the right window  (red line in the picture).

Actually i think the option under "Options" -> "Window Snapping" -> "Classic" -> "To other windows" -> "From inside" almost does the job. I just has to be extended to also work when the windows are aligned (i.e. snapped together).

Best Regards.

agree. Sometimes wondered, why windows don't snap like I expected...

Please extend the snapping behaviour.

(and please, try hard to find a way to snap Child Windows, too ;) )

Ok, we'll do everything we can :)

TabSel, could you describe the situation when you need snapping to child windows?

Cubase...

Main App window stretched across 7040x1200 px in order to fit lots of child windows, like VST plugins, mixers etc...
Especially ordering plugin windows is so cumbersome...

Snapping to child windows, main windows, desktop dividers will save me lots of organizational time ;)
