This might be due to workarounds for the other bug report about AWM and Affinity not playing nicely together—perhaps AWM is ignoring Affinity apps right now? But when using floating windows in Affinity Photo for different images on different monitors, all the task bar icons are shown together on the main Affinity window's taskbar. See screenshot—2 floating windows on the left and right monitors, and the main app window on the centre monitor. Firefox is also on the centre, and there's a Powershell window on the left monitor also, with it's taskbar icon where it should be.

The problem has been confirmed: as I can see when AWM taskbars are used the taskbar buttons of the detached Affinity Photo windows follow the taskbar button of the main window - they're displayed on the monitor where the main window resides. It seems that the problem is partially caused by Affinity Photo itself - when you use the standard Windows taskbars on secondary monitors the taskbar button of a detached window is always displayed on the monitor where it was first put upon detaching, even if you move it to other monitor later.

We'll try to fix it and will post here when it's fixed.

For now the only way to have the taskbar button of a detached Affinity Photo window on the monitor where it resides is to enable the Mirror mode for Actual Window Manager taskbars (AWM configuration module > Multiple Monitors > Taskbar > Mirror). But it means that you will have taskbar buttons of all applications on all monitors, which I think might be not an option for you.

The problem doesn't seem to be associated with workaround for the other problem with Affinity.

Best regards.
