Aaron,

Thank you for the feedback. Actually, we already had an example when Chrome broke something in certain update but got recovered in later updates.

Of course, we'll try to fix the issue at our side.

Anyway, you (and all other participants and visitors of this thread) can help us to force Google fix the subject issue both by upvoting it and by sending a report via Chrome. Referring to this thread in reports is appreciated.

Thank you for your help!

Unfortunately, the problem persists in the version 86.0.4240.183.

Aaron,

According to Chromium developers, the issue is planned to be fixed in Chrome 87.

The latest news from the official Chromium bug tracker: the issue is fixed, the fix will be available in the upcoming Chrome 87 update (should come out in a week or two).

I can confirm this is now fixed with the latest version of Google Chrome.

This issue is still persistent with Vivaldi unfortunately. Testing shows fixed for Chrome/Edge/Firefox. Do you happen to know if Vivaldi has a fix/update incoming? Non-primary monitors only. I posted this in Vivaldi forums as well.

Note that this only happens when "On Top" selection is checked for the taskbar. Auto-hide or unchecked On-Top don't cover the fullscreen. For other browsers, "On Top" can remain on.

maverick man,

The latest version of Vivaldi is based on Chromium version 86. I guess the problem will be solved in Vivaldi as well when the new version based on the Chromium version 87 is released.

Best regards.
