Is there a way to for Actual Window Manager to produce more than that minimal log window? A debug mode maybe? I am running version 8.14.2 on Windows 10 1903 (with latest updates) and it seems to be closing with no error window. This happens at various times after the application starts and with it not logging to the event system I can'e see what's causing it.

Thanks.

Hello, Ryan

There is a known problem which can cause closing of the program. It has been already fixed and the fix will be available in the next update.

Please see whether there is LogonScreenService.exe file in the installation folder of Actual Window Manager (by default it’s C:\Program Files (x86)\Actual Window Manager). If the file is not there, then download the file using one of the following links depending on what version of Windows you’re running – 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64). Then copy the file to the installation folder and see whether it helps.

Best regards.

That seems to be working well as a fix.

Thank you.

The Actual Multiple Monitors app just started closing on our systems in the last few weeks.  I suppose AMM is related to this issue as well?  AMM is installed on the desktop, so can we just drop this file in there as well to fix?

Hello, Michael

Sure. Here they are:
LogonScreenService.exe for AMM on Windows 32-bit (x86)
and
LogonScreenService.exe for AMM on Windows 64-bit (x64).

Let us know whether adding the file to the folder helps.

Best regards.
