Hi Alex,

Any update? This is on my home computer so if there is no fix I will just downgrade or uninstall it and call it a day. At this point I only use it for minimal features like the taskbar but if it can't play nice I can do without it and eat the cost.

Hi carbon248,

Thank you for a follow-up.

Actually, I've been waiting for the information from your side.    In particular, I'd like to know:

1) if the issue returned after installing 8.14.1 back

2) what the results of disabling the mouse in the Device Manager

Thank you.

Hi Alex,

1. Yes on 8.14.1 it is worse, i started to actually notice it on 8.12 as well. Part of the delta is likely the windows 10 update. The problem is worse on 8.14.1 as it occurs more frequently compared to 8.12. This is for sure related to Windows 1809 and AMM working together.

2. Made no difference with it disabled.

Hi carbon248,

Thank you for the update.

Have you noticed any pattern in your work that causes the problem to manifest? Probably, any specific actions?

And again: please confirm in the Task Manager (the Details tab) what processes consume CPU the most when the problem appears.

Thanks!

Hi Alex,

I have noticed when I open a lot of MS related tools like Office it starts to occur. But also as i stated and I don't know what causes this but the entire task bar becomes blank and the only way to resolve this is to close out AMM and re-open it. I checked task manager and there is no memory leak at least not for the AMM processes but this does occur randomly.

This is really a two part issue, mouse lag, and the entire taskbar freezing going dark when its idle overnight.
