We use hot spots on the edges of our primary monitor screens to quickly display three different background running applications.

eg. Snagit sits quietly on the right hand edge of the screen and when we need to capture a part of the current display moving the mouse to the right hand side brings up Snagit's cross hairs to do the job and when done Snagit disappears with the hot spot ready for the next time we need it.

Can Actual Multiple Monitors mirror such hot spots that they might be used independently on two monitors attached to the same workstation?

I'm afraid, the mirroring feature of Actual Multiple Monitors can't help you to solve this problem, as the image displayed by the mirror window should be interactive in this case. For now, there is no ability to interact with the displayed elements right from the mirror window. The mirror can only display interaction with the actual displayed area (part of the desktop for example).

Could you tell how you set these hot spots? Do you use some software to manage the hot spots?

Best regards.
