Here is another issue. I cannot test regex because buttons are missing

See that this is fixed in the latest release, many thanks. How about the rest, still working on that?

such as the miniature icons for "Global Options" to "Help"

And icons for "pre-defined sizes"
And all the icons for rules under "Special Settings"

more or less all icons are not correct, compared to running at 1920x1080

Hi there,

Because I love this software so much I'll tell you this.

When using scaling, as most do with a 4k display (TV) to be able to see anything fr om a 3 meter distance. In my case I use 200 DPI.

Today I tried 225 and 300 DPI and I notice that Actual Window Guard became ûber blurry. But there's a easy workaround. Anyway, just wanted to inform you guys about it.

In these three images you see how it look with and without High DPI Override

Update: Seems I can only add one image so I add that shows how blurry it is without High DPI override when using DPI 225 or 300 =)

Hello, Michael

Thank you for appreciation of our work and sharing this information.

What version of Actual Window Guard you're running now?

What version of Windows you're running? Could you name the exact number of your Windows build (type winver in the Search field of the Windows Start menu, press Enter. The Window containing the build number will appear).

Do you mean with DPI 200% the window doesn't get blurry?

Is your TV a secondary monitor in your system?

Could you disable the High DPI Override option, set the common increased DPI for the whole system (Display settings > Advanced scaling settings > Custom scaling) and see whether the problem persists in this case?

Best regards.

Hi Bogdan,

Win 10, Version 1903 (Build 18362.175) and AWG 8.14

  • Using DPI 200% the windows doesn't get blurry.
  • Using anything higher and the window gets blurry without using High DPI Override.
  • Only using my 4k TV, so only one monitor connected.

I think you misunderstood what High DPI Override is please have a look at the screenshot.
