 I am wondering what the criteria are for showing the Recent & Favorite folders title buttons. I assume they are supposed to be shown only whenever there is a location dialog window, but I have noticed these button are also shown in any of the Control Panel windows. Moreover, in WordPerfect these buttons are not shown in location dialog windows. I hope you can fix the latter, as I am a very frequent user of WordPerfect (still a better word processor than Word IMO).

I am using AWM 7.2 on Vista Ultimate 32-bit.

 Hello Pim.

Our programs use the specified set of criteria for showing the Recent & Favorite folders title buttons, so that they appears in the windows where it makes sense - dialog windows, explorer windows, control panel windows.

These buttons appears in the standard dialog windows and also MS Office dialogs are supported. If application use specific dialog windows (like WordPerfect for example), such dialog windows won't be affected and the "folders buttons" won't show up.

We'll add support of the WordPerfect dialogs.

 Thank you for the explanation and adding the buttons to WordPerfect, Bogdan. I am wondering though why these buttons are also shown on Control Panel windows. They do not include any location dialog windows, or am I overlooking something?

 Hello Pim.

You should thank our developers for adding the buttons, not me :)

The Favorite folders and Recent folders are placed in the explorer windows as well as in the control panel windows (because the control panel windows are too explorer windows) just to make navigation through folders more convenient.

Now I understand that these buttons tie in with Explorer and how it is tied in. I never use Windows Explorer, but use Directory Opus instead, so I had not seen the functionality in Windows Explorer yet. Would it be possible to also have the Favorite and Recent Folders buttons show and work in Directory Opus?
That would be very handy, looking at how these buttons work in Windows Explorer.

I'd like to inform you that the subject issue (Buttons in WordPerfect) has been fixed. The fix is available in the Actual Window Manager new beta version - 7.3 beta 2.

You are fast  ;)  I saw this morning that the new beta had been published and in the release notes I read that there was a compatibility fix for WordPerfect. I was planning to test it and let you know about my findings (which I still did). It works! Thanks for your great responsiveness and pro-active communication! It is GREATLY appreciated  :!:

 Hello Bogdan,

I just noticed that when I have 2 or more Directory Opus listers (windows) open, the Recent & Favorite folder buttons always work on one of the Directory Opus listers. Even if I click a button in the other lister, it will open the corresponding folder in the one lister. This is different fr om Windows Explorer, wh ere the buttons affect only the window that contains the buttons. Is this something you can fix? I am using 3 monitors since a month and I sometimes have 2 Directory Opus windows open. Therefore I am hoping that a fix is possible.

I am using Directory Opus 10.5.0.0 (4779) x86 with AWM 7.5 beta 1 on Vista Ultimate 32-bit.
