Actual Tools releases version 2.8 of Actual Window Manager, the innovative system enhancement application to increase business efficiencies to the maximum

Actual Tools, the highly successful innovator in system enhancement technologies, today announced the release of version 2.8 of Actual Window Manager. The application offers a unique system of 6 new window navigating controls and over 40 other handy functions for Windows platforms to increase business efficiencies of a company by offering its employees powerful software tools to simplify their work.

Actual Window Manager v.2.8 seamlessly integrates with Windows shell and expands the system functionality with new window controls which are visually represented by corresponding title bar buttons placed next to standard Minimize/Restore/Close buttons. With alternative window navigating system, PC operators can minimize application windows to virtually any place on the desktop. Besides, they can put any window on top of the others to have its contents always visible and easily accessible. Furthermore, they can "roll up" a window to its title bar to instantly see the contents of another window behind and then "unroll" it back. Alternatively they can make a window semi-transparent which also helps to see another background window without constantly minimizing and restoring windows.

Thanks to a flexible and easy-to-use interface, PC operators can configure the behavior of all system windows or any single window within a few clicks. More information on other 40 functions is available at

The application is intended for a wide range of knowledge workers who tend to work with several applications at a time. With the new window navigation system, PC operators can successfully get rid of the so-called window clutter problem in the task tray and get more stylistic options for organizing the desktop space to fit their individual needs and habits. Automating many routine processes, the program enables users to concentrate on work better and reduces the risk of human error to zero. Improved efficiency of a single employee has an overall positive effect on the productivity of a company as a whole.

"Here at Pepsi Headquarters I work in 7 programs at one time all through the day" said Diana Genario, FSV and Payment Services Coordinator at Carolina's Pepsi. "The days of minimizing windows to the task bar and flipping from program window to program window are OVER thanks to your wonderful software! My day will flow much easier now that I have this."

The latest version of Actual Window Manager utilizes the "silent installation" function which simplifies the setup process within a company by automatically installing the product without any human interference. Additionally, one configuration file enables the administrator to configure the program on one computer and quickly apply the configuration settings to all other computers in the company. With new command line support, system administrators can manage the application using command line parameters.

The application runs under Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP/2003 and costs $39.95 (USD) for a single-user license. Corporate customers are encouraged to take advantage of our special corporate sales discounts. Learn more at
