Thanks. I have manually changed the audio devices icons (except TV) to match my actual hardware. Here's the requested screenshot:

red devil,

Please move or copy .ico-files from C:\Windows\System32 to C:\Windows or C:\Windows\SysWow64 directory, update their paths in "Change icon" windows and check whether the problem persists or not.

Hi Vasiliy Ivachev,

It displays correctly after moving to SysWow64 folder. Thanks for the workaround.

Also, i tried to set the icon from 'My Documents' folder and from 'C' root drive and it was displayed correctly both the times, hence it seems that System32 folder is the culprit.

Regards,
Red

Gents, I now have a new issue with the above 8.4.1 set up, occasionally the PC slows down completely, it continues to run the mirroring and the program but very slowly. If I disable mirroring it returns to normal speed, if I enable the mirror (as described before) again after a short random time the issue starts again. I can solve the issue by disabling desktop composition which is why I suspect that the issue may be related to the earlier problem. When hardware acceleration is unticked there are no issues with mirroring on or off or desktop composition on or off. Unfortunately I need the speed of the hardware acceleration and the program I'm mirroring really needs running full screen windowed - so disabling desktop composition introduces a lot of unwanted compromises.

Hello Mark,

Please check whether your PC slows down if you change the Scale option (fixed scale x1, x1/2, x2, etc.) or when you switch source and mirror displays (e.g. mirror from display 1 to display 2, from display 2 to display 1, from display 1 to display 3, etc.) or not.
