Stephen,

Please send us your configuration files (Actual Window Manager -> Tools -> Configuration -> Send to Tech Support) from the 8.4 version and attach a link to this thread.

Stephen,

Please check whether the problem persists in the 8.5.1 version of Actual Window Manager (download link - http://www.actualtools.com/files/aimsetup.exe ) or not.

Stephen,

Please check whether the ActualWindowManager_init_errors.log file exists in your %temp% directory or not. If it exists, please send us ( support@actualtools.com ) this file.

No, not there. How do I initiate a dump to that file?

Stephen,

The file appears when there are problems with display identificators that might cause the issue. You don't need to initiate a dump to this file. Please try the following steps (to check whether the problem is caused by other processes running on your User Account):
1. Create a new User Account;
2. Login to the User Account;
3. Install Actual Window Manager 8.5.1 from http://www.actualtools.com/files/aimsetup.exe ;
4. Check whether you are able to reproduce the issue or not.

If you will be unable to reproduce the problem using the new User Account, please provide us a full list of processes running on your main User Account.

Stephen,

It seems we have to assemble a custom build with the extended logging for you to trace the cause of the problem. Are you ready to proceed on this way?
