ConsolePatch.exe (together with ConsoleHelper.dll) is an additional executable module for the new Command Prompt Windows Support feature available since vesrion 5.0. beta 1.

Michael,htanks for reply.

I don't do much work with command windows. IF I do NOT run this .exe file at bootup, does it afect standard AWM functions?

If I DO run it, does it affect anything else?

how do I keep these two modules from starting up at startup?

thanks
Nick

It won't affect the AWM standard functions for GUI windows. If you run it won't affect anything else in its turn smile:)

To disable it you need to turn it off (Options->Command Prompt Windows->Enable support of command prompt windows and console applications checkbox).
