AWM 5.0 beta 3
WinXP Pro SP2
Azureus 3.0.3.4

I set up Win+A as the hotkey to Reapply settings.  This hotkey works with every window I have tried it on, except for the main Azureus window.  On the Azureus window, Win+A has no effect.  (Of course, I am making sure that Azureus has focus when I press Win+A.)

The strange thing is that if (in the Azureus main window) I click the wrench title bar icon and click Reapply settings there, it works.  By "it works", I mean the Azureus window is moved/resized as it should be.

Hi Scott,

What happens if you change the hotkey to, let's say, Win+Shift+A or to any other keyboard shortcut?

When I configure the hotkey as Win+Shift+A, nothing changes.  That is, other windows still respond to the hotkey, but Azureus does not.

Scott,

Please specify: do the hotkeys for other actions (Roll up, Resize, Align etc.) work with Azureus?

Right now, my stay-on-top hotkey (Win+T) and the Reapply settings hotkey (Win+A) are working with Azureus, and I feel stupid, because I don't know why.

More specifically, I don't know why Win+A was not working before.  I have not updated Azureus...

I have removed Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) over the past few days, though.  KIS includes functionality that checks for windows hooks, so I believe it's possible for it to interfere with AWM.  I have no idea why it might interfere with AWM/Azureus and not other applications, but when I reinstall KIS I will be able to tell if that is the real root of the problem.

I will post again soon.

Edit: Sorry, I still have not reinstalled KIS.  I am in no particular hurry, as anti-malware software makes life quite difficult at times, with the slowness, instability, and incompatibilities it causes.

I am now running AWM 5.0 beta 4, and KIS 7.0.0.125 is installed once again.  The hotkey does not work with Azureus once again.  I thought this would establish that KIS was part of the problem, but the hotkey does not work even if KIS is disabled or completely terminated.
